    Öğrencilerin, özel eğitime muhtaç çocukların ailelerine yönelik, ailenin ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda, çocuklarının gelişim özellikleri, çocuklarına kavram ve beceri kazandırma, davranış değiştirme yöntemleri, ailenin yasal hakları, ailenin eğitim sürecine katılımının önemi, erken çocukluk dönemi eğitim programlarının uygulanması, ev öğretim programlarının hazırlanıp uygulanması gibi konularda aile eğitimi düzenleyebilecek ve aile rehberliği yapabilecek düzeye gelmesini sağlamaktır.
